The Muskingum men's basketball team snapped a three-game skid as they upended Ohio Athletic Conference foe Capital Wednesday evening, 77-67.
The Basics

Game Notes
- Senior Joshua Keyes recorded his 11th double-double of the season scoring 14 points and grabbing 13 rebounds to lead a balanced attack that saw three Muskies in double figures.
- Sophomore Jarrell Marsh led the attack netting a game-high 19 points on 6-of-13 (.462) shooting from the field.
- Freshman Marcus Dempsey finished with 18 points and a game-high five assists.
- Muskingum ended the outing shooting 27-for-60 (.450) from the floor, including 17-of-21 (.810) from the free throw line.
- The Muskies held a 12-7 edge in steals and forced 15 Crusader turnovers.
- Joey Weingartner led the way for Capital netting a team-high 14 points.
- Ganiyu Yahaya chipped in 11 points and grabbed six rebounds.
- The Crusaders shot .404 (23-of-57) from the field.
Inside the Numbers
- Senior Rickey Wilson connected from behind the arc with 16:55 remaining in the first-half to put Muskingum on top for good.
- The Muskies entered the break with a 43-33 advantage.
- Muskingum continued to push its lead late into the second half as a pair of free throws by Marsh gave the Muskies its largest lead of the contest, 55-41.
- Capital continued to battle in the final minutes of action cutting the deficit to 71-67 before a pair of clutch free throws by Marsh sealed the win.
