Muskingum suffers first setback

The Muskingum men's basketball team suffered its first setback of the season at Wilmington on Wednesday night, 88-51.

Sophomore Christian Keller led the Muskies with 14 points, while senior Dave Brown and junior Logan Kimble each added eight points. Senior Clay Owings led the rebounding effort with eight boards.

R.J. Leppert led a quad of Quakers in double figures with 15 points.

Wilmington (3-2, 1-0) seized control of the game with a big first half that saw the Quakers take a 45-20 lead into the break.

In the second frame, Wilmington led by as many as 47 (81-34) en route to the win.

Muskingum (3-1, 0-1) next hosts Otterbein on Saturday, December 7. Game time is slated for 3:00 p.m. in the Recreation Center.
