Muskingum senior receiver Ja'Lin Goodman and sophomore linebacker Conner Gurney were honored for their outstanding play this season by being named to the D3football.com Third Team All-Region 4 team.

Goodman, A First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, was named Third Team All-Region 4 as a return specialist. Goodman tied the school record for longest kickoff return for a touchdown with his highlight reel 98-yard score against Ohio Northern. He ended his career ranked second in career return yards with 1,393, second in a season with 751, and sixth in career receiving yards with 1,655. 

Gurney, a First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree, was named Third Team All-Region 4 as a linebacker. He led Muskingum with 73 tackles, including 46 solo stops. He also recorded 12 tackles for loss for 40 yards and two sacks.

The All-Region teams, selected in balloting by Region 4 sports information directors and D3football.com staff, were chosen from 169 nominations by full Division III member schools. A total of 79 were chosen. Players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for D3football.com All-America honors, which will be announced on the evening of December 15.
