Football makes trip to second-ranked Mount Union

The Muskingum football team lost at second-ranked Mount Union on Saturday, 74-7.

  • Junior quarterback Jayden Young connected with senior receiver Zuri Edmondson for an 80-yard touchdown for the lone spark for the Muskies.
  • Edmundson ended the outing with a game-high five receptions for 122 yards. 
  • Junior defensive back Qwestin Litz and junior linebacker Austin Willforth led the Muskies with seven stops each.
  • Junior defensive lineman Steve Ervin notched one sack for six yards.
