The Muskingum men's cross team finished 31st out of 40 teams at Regionals. The event was hosted by John Carroll. The Muskies were led by Senior Wade Speeth with a time of 25:44.5, to finish 108th out of 278 runners.

The Ohio Athletic Conference released the top cross country runners to watch for the upcoming season. The Muskies that were honored included senior Wade Speeth and freshman Blake Miller.
Muskingum will host the 2022 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Cross Country Championships on Saturday, October 29 at Moorehead Farm in New Concord, Ohio. The women’s 6K championship race will begin at 1:00 p.m., and the men’s 8K championship race is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
