Muskingum freshman Kendall Mackie finished third in the 27-runner field with a time of 17:57.3 to lead the Muskies at the season-opening Muskingum Meet held at Agnes Moorehead Farm on Wednesday.
The Course
- The meet was hosted by Muskingum's new course located at Agnes Moorehead Farm.
- The event was a 4K.
- Marietta locked in first place with 36 points.
- Muskingum logged 87 points.
- This marked the start of the 2021 season for the Muskies.
How it Happened
- Freshman Kendall Mackie directed the Muskies with a third-place finish and a time of 17:57.3.
- Senior Mikayla Deiotte notched a time of 21:45.6 to place 17th.
- Senior Spencer Neville locked in a time of 23:21.8 (21st place), while senior Macey Mills finished in 23:29.0 (22nd place).
- Senior Demeisha Ransom secured a time of 25:51.4 to finish 24th.
- Sophomore Cassidy Phillips rounded out the Muskie effort with a time of 28:37.5 to place 26th.
