The Muskingum women's outdoor track & field team traveled to compete in the Otterbein and Kenyon Invitationals over the weekend.
Otterbein Invitational
On The Track
- Sophomore Abigail Derry earned a sixth place finish in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:22.71.
Kenyon Invitational
Inside The Numbers
- The Muskies scored 65 total team points.
On The Track
- The 4x100 meter relay team of sophomore Liberty Bunting, freshman Shannon Cooper, junior Jacquelynn Grinnell, and sophomore Averi Wallace earned a second place finish with a time of 52.02.
- Wallace earned a third place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.22 meters.
- Sophomore Kilikina Schultz earned a third place finish in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.48 meters. Schultz also finished fifth in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:13.72.
- Bunting finished fifth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.83.
- Sophomore Savannah Strawmyer placed eighth in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 18.14.
In The Field
- Freshman Chloe Honeycutt finished fourth in the javelin throw with a mark of 26.63 meters.
- Sophomore Ella Brothers finished in fifth place in the hammer throw with a mark of 40.99 meters.
- Sophomore Teasia Jones placed sixth in the long jump with a mark of 4.62 meters.
- Freshman Sarah St.Germain placed sixth in the javelin throw with a mark of 23.28 meters.
- Freshman Jessica Dotson placed sixth in the discus throw with a mark of 36.36 meters. Dotson also placed seventh in the shot put with a mark of 11.03 meters.
- Junior Jacquelynn Grinnell finished in seventh place in the long jump with a mark of 4.59 meters.
- Strawmyer finished in seventh place in the Pole Vault with a mark of 2.29 meters.
- Sophomore Amber Corll placed seventh in the hammer throw with a mark of 39.77 meters.
