Anstaett, Bachman, and Boyer named ITA Scholar-Athletes for women's tennis

Muskingum women's tennis junior Kaylee Anstaett, junior Emma Bachman, and junior Jane Boyer were all named Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athletes in recognition of their excellence in the classroom.

The trio also excelled on the court as they helped lead the Muskies to a sixth-place finish in the Ohio Athletic Conference and a berth in the OAC Tournament for the first time since 2017.

Muskingum is led by Head Coach Jessie Tharp, who will be entering her second year at the helm of the program. Muskingum will open its fall campaign on Sunday, September 4, at Capital against the Crusaders and Franklin.

To earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must meet the following criteria: 1.) be a varsity letterwinner, 2.) have a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year, and 3.) have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.
