Six Muskies named CSCA STUNT All-Americans

Muskingum University's STUNT team placed six-student athletes on the College STUNT Coaches Association All-American list.

Junior Clara Reichard, seniors Alyssa Grossi and Bethany Baker-Dawson were named First Team All-American, freshman Gillian Smith and sophomore Maranda Rose were named Second Team All-American, while senior Caitlynn Spinks received honrable mention All-American honors. This marks the first time in program history that six members were named to the CSCA All-American list.

All nominees had to particpate in all four quarters of competition (Stunts, Pyramids & Tosses, Jumps & Tumble, and the Team Routine). They had to be a vital component to the team's success and have that shown by their power ranking, and had to participate in at least 50 percent of games played in the season.

In just its second full season of competition, the Muskingum STUNT team concluded the season with a 6-4 overall record and finished second ranked among Divsion III STUNT programs. The team also made its first-ever appearance at the Division III STUNT National Championships and picked up its first-ever win at the national championships, topping Buena Viesta, 12-2, before finishing as runners-up to defending National Champions Alma.
