The Muskingum men's indoor track & field competed in the OAC Elite Meet on Sunday.
The Basics
- Location: Otterbein - Westerville, OH and Capital - Bexley, OH
Notables
- The Muskies finished eighth out of a ten-team field.
- Muskingum logged in a total of 23 points.
- Mount Union finished in first with 231 points.
On The Track
- Freshman Wade Speeth secured sixth in the 1-mile run with a time of 4:35.44.
- The 4x200-meter crew of freshman Samuel Paydock, junior Aaron Johnston, freshman Tyrel James, and freshman Jaden Swiderek, grabbed third place with a time of 1:37.37.
In The Field
- Swiderek guided the Muskies with a long jump of 6.20 meters to earn fourth, while freshman Tyrel James finished in sixth with a mark of 6.12 meters.
- Freshman Jakai Smith recorded a triple jump mark of 12.17 meters to place sixth, while James finished right behind him in seventh with 12.04 meters.
