The Muskingum men's indoor track & field team opened their new season at the Jessica Starks Quad Meet hosted by Capital University.
The Basics

Notables
- The meet marked the season opener of the 2021 indoor season.
- The Muskies finished in third out of a four-team field.

On The Track
- Freshman Hasson Williams finished first in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.66, while sophomore Seth Roseberry finished in third with a time of 10.13.
- Freshman Jaden Swiderek finished second in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.27.
- The 4x200-meter crew of junior Aaron Johnston, freshman Julian Anderson, junior Hudson Moore, and freshman Samuel Paydock notched second with a time of 1:39.23.
- Senior John Franz logged a 5,000-meter time of 16:55.37, securing fourth.
- Freshman Wade Speeth secured sixth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:13.91.
In The Field
- Swidereck and freshman Tommoris Davis each earned a high jump of 1.71 meters for a second-place finish.
- Junior Noah St. Clair notched a pole vault mark of 3.20 meters to give him second.
- Swiderek guided the Muskies with a long jump mark of 6.34 meters to earn him first, while Davis finished right behind him in second with a mark of 6.21 meters. Freshman Tyrel James also finished in third with a long jump mark of 6.14 meters.
- Freshman Jakai Smith recorded a triple jump mark of 12.14 meters to place first.
- Sophomore Tristan Makowski finished third with a shot put distance of 12.80 meters.
