• Both teams found their offense early as six total goals were scored in the first quarter. John Carroll tallied four goals in the frame while Muskingum tallied two.
• In the second quarter, the Blue Streaks tallied six unanswered goals to build a 10-2 lead heading into the halftime break.
• Riding their momentum, John Carroll tallied four more goals in the third quarter to stretch their lead to 14-2.
• The Blue Streaks outscored Muskingum 3-1 in the fourth quarter to bring the final score to 17-3.

• Muskingum was led by junior Trevor Connolly who tallied 21 saves in net while also registering a goal.
