Men’s Lacrosse falls at Ohio Northern

The Muskingum men's lacrosse team fell on the road in OAC action to Ohio Northern on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened

  • Ohio Northern got out to a quick start, outscoring Muskingum 4-0 in the first quarter of play.
  • In the second quarter, Ohio Norther continued to build off their moment. The Polar Bears outscored the Muskies 6-1 in the frame and held a 10-1 lead heading into halftime.
  • The third quarter was a defensive battle as Ohio Northern outscored Muskingum 2-1 in a low scoring frame.
  • Muskingum controlled the fourth quarter, outscoring the Polar Bears 3-2 to bring the score to 14-5 at the end of the contest.

  • Muskingum was led by junior Grant Webster who finished with two goals.
  • Senior Maxwell Pezzot notched one goals and two ground balls for Muskingum, while junior Travis Geyer tallied one goal and one ground ball.
  • Sophomore Drew Schneider also registered a goal and picked up five ground balls, while freshman Nick Cannon tallied a team-high seven ground balls.
  • Senior Walker Litke registered a team-high two caused turnovers, while junior Spencer Zecchini and freshman Chipper Iacobucci both dished out one assist.
