The Muskingum men's lacrosse team dropped a road OAC contest with Mount Union 10-5 on Wednesday night.
The Basics
- Records: Muskingum (5-7 Overall, 1-4 OAC), Mount Union (5-7 Overall, 2-3 OAC)

How it Happened
- Mount Union started the game hot, out scoring the Muskies 3-0 in the opening quarter.
- The Purple Raiders added to their lead in the second quarter, outscoring Muskingum 4-1 in the frame to take a 7-1 lead into halftime.
- In the third quarter, Muskingum outscored Mount Union 4-3 to cut in the Purple Raider's lead. Mount Union led 10-5 heading into the final quarter.
- Neither team could find the back out net net in the fourth, and Mount Union hung onto their five point lead for the victory.
Inside the Numbers
- Muskingum was led by sophomore Drew Schneider who tallied one goal and 11 ground balls for the Muskies.
- Junior Grant Webster also found the back of the net for Muskingum to go along with two ground balls, while senior Michael Honeycutt recorded one goal and one caused turnover.
- Junior Jack Watts and sophomore Drew Davis both tallied one goal each for Muskingum, while senior Griffin Holiga and freshman Nick Cannon both grabbed three ground balls apiece.
- Junior Trevor Connolly tallied 12 saves in net for Muskingum.
- Mount Union was led by Logan Gebhart with four goals and two assists.
