Men’s Lacrosse falls in OAC-Opener at Baldwin Wallace

The Muskingum men's lacrosse team fell 16-5 at Baldwin Wallace in the team's OAC-opening contest.

  • Muskingum started the game hot, outscoring the Yellow Jackets 3-2 in the opening frame to take the early lead.
  • The second quarter was controlled by Baldwin Wallace who tallied a 4-1 advantage in the second frame and carried a 6-4 lead into halftime.
  • Baldwin Wallace extended their lead in the third quarter, outscoring Muskingum 6-0 to make their advantage 12-4.
  • Muskingum tallied two more goals in the final quarter to bring the score to a final tally of 15-6.

Inside the Numbers

  • Muskingum was led by junior Travis Geyer who tallied three goals and two ground balls.
  • Freshman Tyler Workman got on the board for the muskies with one goal and one ground ball, while junior Grant Webster also tallied one goal as well.
  • Freshman Jack Peyton rounded out the Muskie scoring with one goal, while junior Trevor Connolly tallied 17 saves in net.
