Men's lacrosse shoots past Heidelberg

The Muskingum men's lacrosse team peppered 50 shots against Heidelberg en route to an 11-4 Ohio Athletic Conference road win on Saturday.

  • The win against Heidelberg marked Muskingum's first back-to-back OAC wins in program history.
  • The victory also marked Muskingum's first time winning two conference games in a season in program history.

Inside the Numbers

  • Junior Zachary Westmeyer, sophomore Maxwell Pezzot, freshman Travis Geyer, and senior Josh Fletcher all scored two goals to pace the Muskie attack. Fletcher also logged one assist. 
  • Freshman Hunter McGuire added one goal and two assists.
  • Junior Douglas Gorski recorded a team-high six ground balls and caused three turnovers.
