Men's Bowling sits at 17th in most recent USBC National Poll

Men's Bowling is ranked 17th in the most recent United States Bowling Congress (USBC) National Poll.

The men's bowling team moves down following their performance at the Hoosier Classic, where they finished 25th out of 78 teams

In their most recent bout at the Hoosier Classic, the Muskies were led by junior Evan Thro, who recorded a six game series of 1273 pins and notched a 37th place finish individually. Senior Ethan McDonald helped fuel the Muskies with 1187 pins. Freshman Jacob Willard threw in a five game series of 1035 pins and sophomore Brody Wildenmann was close behind with a five game series of 1025 pins. Freshman Talon Newton, sophomore Kenny Haslip, sophomore John Jacobs, and senior Andrew Amore rounded out the scoring effort by the Muskies.

Going into their last Ohio Bowling Conference (OBC) tournament of the season, the Muskies will look to claim win number four this year. They have already claimed wins at the Welcome Back Tournament, OBC #3, and Muskie Mash, along with two runner-up finishes at the OBC #1, and Lehigh Valley Classic. An impressive resume that they will look to cap off with a win this weekend.

The Muskies will look to climb back up the rankings when they compete in the Ohio Bowling Conference #5 at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace on Saturday, February 17 at 10:00 a.m.
