Men's Bowling climbs to 16th in latest USBC National Poll

Men's Bowling has climbed two spots in the latest United States Bowling Congress (USBC) National Poll! The Muskies are ranked 16th after an outstanding performance at the Muskie Mash.

The men's bowling team has moved up in the rankings of the United States Bowling Congress National Poll following a dominating win at the Muskie Mash. This performance at the Muskie Mash included four Top 10 individual performances and a 400 pin difference between them and the rest of the field.

The Muskie Mash marked the third win on the season for the Muskies as a team, and saw the highest finishing individual this season, as senior Ethan McDonald won the tournament with an average of 225.2 pins per game. The Muskies also rounded out the Top 3 with junior Evan Thro and sophomore Brody Wildenmann locking down second and third place as individuals. Senior Andrew Amore finished out the Top 10 placements with a 10th individual finish after averaging 206.6. Sophomores John Jacobs and Kenny Haslip rounded out the scoring for Muskingum with Haslip bowling two games for a total of 387(187-200) and Jacobs adding in a 631(194-235-202).

Muskingum will continue to look to move up the rankings when they return to action on Saturday, February 10 for a trip to the Hoosier Classic at the Western Bowl.
