Men's Bowling ranked 15th in NCBCA Coaches Poll

The Muskingum men's bowling team is ranked 15th after receiving a total of 221 points in the second poll of the National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association for the 2023-24 bowling season. The NCBCA Coaches' Team Poll is a presentation of the top 20 USBC Collegiate bowling programs determined by the National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association (NCBCA).

The Muskies have stacked up a good resume, including two team championships, and two runner-up finishes through their first seven tournaments. Muskingum won the Welcome Back Tournament event in Columbus, with a combined score of 9833. They also won the Ohio Bowling Conference #3 event in Columbus, with a combined score of 7937. The Muskies finished runner-up, out of 19 teams, at the Ohio Bowling Conference #1 event, as well as finishing runner-up, in a 29-team field, at the Lehigh Valley Classic.

The Muskies have dominated the lanes multiple times as individuals in each tournament, having a bowler finish inside the top ten in six events this year. Five different Muskies have earned a top ten performance this bowling season.

Muskingum returns to action on Saturday, January 13 at the Kegel Midwest Championship.
