McDonald finishes ninth at ISC Nationals

Muskingum men's bowling junior Ethan McDonald finished ninth at the Intercollegiate Singles Championships (ISC) to become the first national participant in program history.

Notables

  • McDonald finished 9th out of the 24-bowler field.
  • After day one of preliminary competition, McDonald earned the #2 seed after rolling a six-game series of 1305 (225-201-206-222-236-215).
  • The top eight seeds of the tournament earned a first-round bye in the single-elimination, three-game total pins bracket. 
  • McDonald faced #18 seed Sidney Schoschk from South Florida but ultimately was eliminated from the tournament after dropping the contest, 602-553. 
  • After finishing fourth at the ISC sectional tournament, McDonald became Muskingum bowling's first national qualifier.
