McConnaughey leads Men’s Bowling to a first-place finish at OBC event

Sophomore James McConnaughey bowled a three-game series of 669 (264-225-180) en route to finishing second out of a 137-bowler field, at the Ohio Conference event on Saturday at Wayne Webb's Bowling Alley. The Muskingum men's bowling team won the event out of a 13-team field with a score of 6695.

Notables

  • This Ohio Bowling Conference tournament win marks the third win this season for the team.
  • McConnaughey's second-place finish earned him a spot on the OBC All-Tournament team.

Sophomore Ethan Mcdonald notched a sixth-place finish rolling a three-game series of 610 (188-195-227) averaging 203.3 per game. 

Junior Alberto Dunlap rolled a three-game series of 594 (203-190-201) averaging 198 per game to finish 10th.

Sophomore Andrew Amore rounded out the Muskie effort placing 16th with a three-game series of 566 (192-169-205) averaging 188.67 per game.

Muskingum next competes on Saturday, February 5 in the Muskie Mash at Legacy Lanes in Coshocton. The event starts at 12:00 p.m.
