• Ohio Northern would trim the Muskie advantage down to eight with seven minutes left in the first half, but the Muskies would then go on a 14-4 run to close out the period and carry a 37-19 lead into the break.

• Muskingum would then string together a 17-5 run over the next five minutes to open up a 71-40 lead, their largest lead of the game.
