  • However, Heidelberg would slowly chip away at the Muskie lead and eventually tie the game at 26 apiece with eight minutes left until halftime.
  • Both teams would trade buckets the remainder of the first half, and the Student Princes would carry a slim 50-49 lead into the break.
  • Out of the break, both teams would continue their close play, with the score tied at 55 apiece with 15 minutes remaining.
  • However, Heidelberg would get the hot hand and go on a 16-3 run to push their lead to 13.
  • The Muskies would cut the Heidelberg lead down to 10, but could never draw closer as the Student Princes cruised to their 96-76 victory.

  • The Muskies were led by senior Alex Masinelli who registered a team-high 19 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.
