The Muskingum baseball team dropped a road non-conference matchup with Kenyon, 5-3.

The Basics

The Difference

  • After Kenyon scored three runs in the second inning and one in the fourth inning, the Muskies found the scoreboard for the first time in the sixth inning off a sacrifice fly from junior Dominic Gorence.
  • Kenyon was able to answer right away in the sixth inning off a solo home run to push their lead back to 5-1.
  • The Muskies made a late push in the eighth inning with solo homers from sophomore Drew Dittoe and sophomore Quinten Collins, but it wasn't enough as Kenyon held on for the 5-3 win.
