The Muskingum volleyball team dropped their first OAC game against John Carroll in a five set thriller (21-25, 29-27, 17-25, 25-23, 13-15) on Saturday afternoon.

  • Sophomore Mackenzie Krous led the Muskie attack with 19 kills. Defensively she added 11 digs.
  • Junior Josie Niemeyer helped fuel the offense with 15 kills (.294 kill percentage).
  • Junior Emma Johnson and sophomore Sophia Keller led the defense in blocks. Johnson totaled three blocks and had five kills. Keller finished with four blocks and six kills.
  • Freshman Brooklyn Heller added 11 kills and three digs.
  • Sophomore Alexis Bradley and senior Addison Gingrich each conducted the offense as Bradley led the Muskies with 28 assists and Gingrich tossed up 22 assists. Bradly added nine digs and two kills. Gingrich finalized the game with 12 digs and two kills.
  • Muskingum finished with 66 kills, 60 assists, 76 digs, and six service aces.
  • Abby Bednar led John Carroll with 21 kills.
  • Haley Dziubinski added 35 assists for the Blue Streaks.
