Women’s Track & Field competes at Kenyon Spring Invite

The Muskingum Women's Track & Field team competed at the Kenyon Spring Invitational on Saturday.

The Basics

Notables

  • Muskingum scored a team total of 62 points.
  • The College of Wooster won the event with 171 points

On the Track

  • Junior Emily Fieseler notched a sixth-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.79, she also finished seventh in the 200-meter dash with a time of 29.28.
  • Junior Miranda Houshel placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:26.60.
  • The 4X100-meter team of freshman Jacquelynn Grinnell, Neville, senior Macey Mills and Fieseler notched a fifth-place finish with a time of 54.18.
  • The 4X400-meter team of Grinnell, Neville, Mills, and freshman Hailey Stroud placed fifth with a time of 5:37.53.
  •  Senior Spencer Neville placed eighth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 14.31.
  • Sophomore Madison Curavo ran a time of 2:45.37 to finish eighth in the 800-meter.

In the Field

  • Neville notched a second-place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.67 meters.
  • Senior Mikayla Deiotte finished second in the Javelin with a mark of 29.42 meters.
  • Freshman Lindsey Wright secured a third-place finish in the Javelin with a mark of 28.44 meters, she also finished fifth in the Hammer with a distance of 34.97 meters.
  • Mills placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 4.61 meters.
  • Grinnell secured a fourth-place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 9.30 meters.
  • Freshman Chloe Spencer threw a distance of 11.04 meters to place fourth in the shot put.
