The Muskingum Women's Track & Field team competed at the Tim Weaver Invitational hosted by West Liberty on Saturday. The Muskies finished fifth out of a six-team field.
The Basics
- The event was hosted by West Liberty
- Muskingum finished with a total team score of 45
- West Liberty won the event with a total team score of 242.
On the Track
- Freshman Jacquelynn Grinnell placed sixth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:07.92.
- The 4X100 meter team of senior Macey Mills, senior Spencer Neville, Grinnell, and junior Emily Fieseler placed fourth with a time of 54.21.
- The 4X400 Relay team of Grinnell, Neville, Mills, and freshman Hailey Stroud secured a fifth-place finish with a time of 5:22.36.
In the Field
- Neville captured a second-place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.55 meters.
- Jace Wigal tossed a mark of 38.34 meters to finish second in the hammer, while she also finished fifth in the discus tossing a mark of 33.75 meters.
- Grinnell secured a fourth-place finish in the Triple Jump with a leap of 8.91 meters.
- Senior Mikayla Deiotte threw a mark of 29.54 meters in the Javelin to place seventh.
