The Muskingum women's outdoor track and field team competed at the OAC Elite Meet on Saturday evening.
The Basics
- Location: Otterbein University - Westerville, OH
Notables
- The Muskies finished in eighth out of a ten-team field.
- Muskingum logged a team total of 33.5 points.
- Mount Union placed first with a team total of 171.
On The Track
- Senior Macy McAdams led the Muskies with a first place finish in the 10,000-meter run with a mark of 35:58.68.
- Junior Macey Mills placed fifht in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.20, while sophomore Miranda Houshel finished behind her in seventh with a score of 18.28.
- Junior Spencer Neville notched sixth in the 400-meter hurdles with a mark of 1:14.11. Senior Mikayla Deiotte placed eighth with a time of 1:16.07.
- The 4x100-meter relay team of sophomore Emily Fieseler, Mills, Neville and senior Mary Double placed sixth with a mark of 53.44.
- The 4x400-meter relay squad of Double, Neville, Deiotte, and sophomore Kelsey Saxton finished eighth with a score of 4:44.87.
In The Field
- Sophomore Lexi Hall guided the Muskies with a fourth place finish in the javelin throw earning a mark of 28.70 meters. Senior Demeisha Ransom finished behind her in fifth with a score of 27.05 meters.
- Neville secured seventh in the high jump with a distance of 1.44 meters.
