Today, Muskingum Athletics honors Muskie women's outdoor track & field senior student-athlete Emily Ellyson.

Senior Emily Ellyson - Mathematics major

Ellyson, a graduate of Untied High School, is the daughter of Kristen and Eric Ellyson. Ellyson was a two-time All-OAC honoree and was recognized with Academic All-OAC accolades. She holds the school record for the indoor high jump and finished in the top three in the high jump in 32 meets, including 11 first-place finishes.

"Emily was the heart and soul of our jumps program," said Muskingum Cross Country Head Coach and Director of Track & Field Operations Jake Gleason. "She was a strong leader, an excellent student, and a fierce competitor. She accomplished much and was one of the best high jumpers our program has ever had."
