Women's Tennis suffers loss to Mount Saint Joseph

The Muskingum women's tennis team suffered a loss to Mount Saint Joseph on Wednesday, 7-2. Freshman Gracie Andrews recorded her first collegiate victory for the Muskies.

The Muskies were led by Andrews and junior Kayla Hall. Hall and Andrews secured an 8-4 triumph in first doubles to give the Muskies a one-point edge on Mount Saint Joseph (1-0). The Lions retaliated with victories in second and third doubles to slide past the Muskingum with a score of 2-1. Andrews recorded a 6-0, 7-5 victory in first singles to tie up play to 2-2. Mount Saint Joseph registered victories in second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth singles en route to the 7-2 victory over the Muskies. 

Muskingum next hosts the Thiel Tomcats on Friday, September 27, at Cambridge Park. Start time is slated for 3:30 p.m.
