The Muskingum women's tennis team suffered a home setback against Earlham on Sunday, 9-0.
The Quakers took quick control of the match by sweeping first, second, and third doubles. Earlham secured the win with victories in each singles match.
Sophomore Mackenzie Simmons provided the Muskies with their best chance for a point at sixth singles. Simmons dropped a hard-fought 6-3, 6-3 battle against Zijia Liu.
Muskingum next plays at Wooster on Saturday, September 29. Match time is slated for 1:00 p.m.
