Women's Soccer student-athletes Britney Herrick, Emma Morton, Hannah Ritchie, and Gabriella Wetherill have been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, honoring their exceptional performance both on the field and in the classroom.
Herrick, a senior defender majoring in exercise science & accounting, was a four-year starter for the program. She started all but two games in her career at Muskingum. She was also selected CSC Academic All-District in 2024, Academic All-OAC in 2024, and OAC Midstream Lighting Defensive Player of the Week in 2022.
Morton, a junior midfielder and nursing major, led the Muskies in goals this season. Morton was given third-team All-OAC honors for her play this season. She was also selected CSC Academic All-District in 2024 and Academic All-OAC in 2024.
Ritchie, a senior midfielder majoring in geology, has led the Muskies in assists in each of the last three seasons and was a four-year starter for the program. She was given third-team All-OAC honors for her play this season. Ritchie was also selected CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-OAC in 2024. In 2023, she was selected OCSA All-Ohio third-team, second-team All-OAC, Academic All-OAC, and Academic All-District.
Wetherill, a sports administration, business management, economics, and accounting major, has started every game of her career thus far for the Muskies. She earned CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-OAC in 2024.
The 2025 Academic All-District Women's Soccer Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the pitch and in the classroom. To be nominated for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be a starter or significant contributor to their team, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and reach sophomore athletic and academic standing at the school.
