Gunderson named Senior Women's Administrator

Muskingum University Head Women's Soccer Coach Dani Gunderson has been named the athletic department's Senior Women's Administrator.

In her new role, Gunderson will represent Muskingum at Ohio Athletic Conference league meetings and provide leadership in the areas of student-athlete and staff development. She will also serve on the Muskingum Athletic Leadership Team.

"Coach Gunderson will bring a positive energy to our leadership team as our Senior Woman Administrator," said Winters. "She cares tremendously about her student-athletes, and I know she will extend that feeling to all student-athletes on our campus."

Gunderson is in her third season as head coach for the Muskingum women's soccer program. Under her tutelage, the Muskies have had multiple players recognized with all-conference and academic all-conference honors. Furthermore, she is a United Soccer Coaches Association member and currently plays for the Columbus Eagles semi-pro soccer team.

Gunderson graduated from Christopher Newport in 2013 with a bachelor's in psychology.
