Karstensen and Meisel named to All-OAC Third Team

The Ohio Athletic Conference has named freshman goalkeeper Abigail Karstensen and freshman midfielder Morgan Meisel to the All-OAC Third Team for their outstanding play during the 2021 season.

Karstensen, who started 13 games for the Muskies, ranked third amongst OAC goalkeepers in saves with 121 on the year. Karstensen logged over 1,000 minutes of playing time in the net for the Muskies in her freshman season and finished with a .791 save percentage.

Meisel, who started all 19 games for Muskingum, led the squad with eight goals on the year, which placed her eighth in the OAC for goals scored. Meisel also finished tied for seventh in goals scored in a season in program history and tied for 12th all-time in points in a season with 17 points.
