Muskingum women's soccer senior captain Julia Prokopchak and junior Alyssa Schneider were both recognized for their success in the classroom by being named Academic All-Ohio by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OSCA). Schneider was named First-Team and Prokopchak was named Second-Team.

Prokopchak, an education and history major from Lexington, Ohio (Lexington High School), was earlier recognized by her coaches and team with the Most Dedicated Returner award. The Ohio Athletic Conference also named her to the OAC Fall Sports Academic Honor Roll for the third straight year in December.

Schneider, an early childhood education major from New Baltimore, Michigan (Anchor Bay High School), was recognized in December by the Ohio Athletic Conference by being named to her first OAC Fall Sports Academic Honor Roll.

The OCSA is one of the oldest and most prestigious college soccer associations in the nation. The OCSA represents all National Collegiate Athletic Association divisions (NCAA), all National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics divisions (NAIA) and all National Junior College Athletic Association divisions (NJCAA) in Ohio.
