Wagner, Prokopchak, and Bodenmiller named Women's Soccer captains

Muskingum women's soccer head coach Mary Beth Caudill has announced the selection of the team captains for the 2019 season. Senior midfielder Abigail Wagner, senior defender Julia Prokopchak, and junior goalkeeper Katie Bodenmiller will take the task of the leading the team this fall.

For Wagner and Prokopchak, this marks the second straight year they have been selected team captains. Wagner has started 47 games and last season tallied a goal and two assists, while helping control the midfield for the Muskies. Prokopchak has started 51 games and has been a strong leader for the backline.

Bodenmiller played in 14 games between the pipes last season for the Muskies, making a team-high 103 saves and earning four wins on the year.

Muskingum opens the season on Friday, August 30 at Earlham. Game time is slated for 3:00 p.m.
