How It Happened

  • The Purple Raiders opened up the scoring in the fourth minute of the game off a goal from Julia Krause. 
  • Junior Abigail Wagner answered for the Muskies in the 31st minute when senior Emily Wiley fed her a pass through Mount Union's defense. 
  • Momentum shifted in the second half when Cortni Arp scored for the Purple Raiders in the 68th minute to give them a 2-1 advantage. 
  • Wagner led the Muskie attack with two shots and one goal.
  • Sophomore Katie Bodenmiller played all 90 minutes in frame, making 12 saves and allowing two goals. 
  • Arp guided the Purple Raiders with five shots and one goal.
  • Michelle Kissane was between the pipes for Mount Union, recording two saves and allowing one goal.
