The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum freshman defender Britney Golden was named the OAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

Golden helped lead the Muskies to a 2-0 week of play with wins against Thiel and Defiance. She scored two goals in Muskingum's 4-1 win against Tomcats and followed that with a two-assist performance in Muskingum's 5-0 win against the Yellow Jackets. Golden ended the week with six points and helped anchor the Muskie backline which secured a shutout. 

On the season, Golden has scored three goals and recorded two assists.

Muskingum next plays at Bethany on Tuesday, September 25. Game time is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. The Muskies open OAC play when they host John Carroll on Saturday, September 29, at 1:00 p.m.
