Wrestling earns three placers at W&J Invite

Senior Noah DeHainaut finished fifth in the 197-pound weight class to headline three Muskingum wrestlers who finished in the top six of their respective weight classes at the Washington & Jefferson Invite.

Notables

  • Senior Noah DeHainaut finished 4-1 on the day to finish fifth in the 197-pound weight class.
  • Senior Tanner Donathan went 5-2 at the invitational to finish sixth in the 141-pound weight class, while freshman Gavin Greer also finished 5-2 to finish sixth in the 157-pound weight class.

  • Senior Tanner Donathan tallied a 5-2 record in the 141-pound weight class to finish sixth. Donathan earned one win by forfeit, one win by pin fall, and three via decision.
  • Freshman Gavin Greer also finished with a 5-2 record, and he finished sixth in the 157-pound weight class. Greer got four of his wins by pin fall, and earned his fifth win via tech fall.
  • Senior Isaac Sell finished 2-2 on the day in the 174-pound weight class. Sell earned one win via pin fall, and one via decision.
  • The following Muskie wrestlers notched one win in their respective weight class: Elijah Burkhart (125), Peyton MacDonald (125), Hunter Heck (133), and Jacob Baca (285).
