The Muskingum wrestling team earned a big win against Ohio Valley in their Muskie Pride Match on Tuesday night, 41-18.

With the win, the Muskies move to 1-3 overall, and Ohio Valley falls to 0-3 on the season.

Leading the Muskies on the mat was freshman Tanner Donathan and sophomore Carter Layton. Donathan competed in the 157 weight class and defeated Brayden Starkey of Ohio Valley by technical fall, 15-0. Layton fell in his 174 weight class bout to Hunter Moore of Ohio Valley by fall in 2:40.

The Muskies next compete at the Wilmington Dual on Tuesday, January 21. The matches are set to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Fred Raizk Arena.
