Jurkovic leads Women’s Golf to second place finish at Mt. St. Joseph Invitational

Junior Allison Jurkovic carded an 84 to finish second as an individual, and lead the Muskingum women's golf team to a runner-up finish at the Mount St. Joseph Invitational.

The Basics

  • The event took place at Miami Whitewater Golf Club.
  • The Muskies finished second out of five teams.
  • As a team, Muskingum shot a combined score of 367.
  • Mount St. Joseph placed first at the event with a score of 339.

On the Course

  • The Muskies were led by Jurkovic who finished in second place as an individual with a score of 84. Jurkovic finished fifth in par four scoring a 6-over, tied for second in par five scoring at 2-over, and she also led the event in total pars with nine.
  • Freshman Katelyn Hines tallied an 88 in her first collegiate round for Muskingum, while sophomore Samantha Miller recorded a 97. Miller also finished tied for second in par five scoring at 2-over with Jurkovic.
  • Junior Morgan Mullaly recorded a 98 on the day, while freshman Tanner Schade rounded out the Muskie scoring with a 101.

  • The Muskies will be back in action on Sunday, September 11, when they compete in the Mount Union Fall Invitational. The event will be held at Tannenhauf Golf Course in Alliance, Ohio.
