Women's Golf geared up for competitive spring season

The Muskingum women's golf team, under the direction head coach Joe Puch, are ready and geared up to compete on the links in the 2020 spring season. The Muskies this spring return six players from the fall including sophomore Ericka Marano, junior Brittnee Edgar, junior Sara Lowman, sophomore MacKenzie Garber, freshman Nyoka Clarke, and freshman Constacia Ryane.

Marano led the Muskies last fall competing in all four tournaments shooting an average score of 96.67 in the fall. Marano's best finish in the fall was finishing tied in sixth-place, out of 51-golfers, shooting a combined score of 89 at the Grove City Fall Invitational.

Edgar finished the fall season playing in all four tournaments and averaged a score of 98.00. Lowman contended in all four tournaments last fall and shot an average score of 108.00.

Garber competed in all four tournaments shooting an average score of 101.33, while Clarke played in three tournaments in the fall season and averaged a score of 106.80.

Joining the Muskies for the spring season and looking to make an impact are junior Makayla Flood and junior Kirsten Pierce.

Last fall, as a team, the Muskies finished in second place shooting a combined score of 401 at the Grove City Fall Invitational for their best finish on the season. 

The Muskies kick-off the spring season when they take on Ohio Northern on Wednesday, March 4 at the Orange Lake Golf Course in Orlando, Fla. Tee times are set for 7:00 a.m.
