Women's Golf competes at Westminster

The women's golf team opened its fall season at the Fall Invitational hosted by Westminster on Saturday.

The Basics 

  • The invitational was held at the New Castle Country Club in New Wilmington, Pa.
  • The course was a par 72 course and 6,600-yards long.
  • Muskingum finished 5th of 8 teams.

On the Course

  • Muskingum was led by junior Emmie Miller with a 97 to tie for 10th in the 36-golfer field.
  • Jenna Lisic placed 13th, shooting a 99.
  • Freshman Morgan Gossett shot a 104 to place 22nd overall.
  • Sophomore Sydney Bowers finished tied for 23rd with a 105.
  • Freshman Megan Stevens shot a 184 to finish 39th overall. 
  • Kelsey Phillips of Westminster won medalist honors with a 84.
  • Point Park University won the team title with a 382.
