Speeth leads Men’s Cross Country at Muskingum Meet

Junior Wade Speeth tallied a time of 16:50.5 to lead the Muskingum Men's Cross Country team to a third-place finish at the Muskingum Meet.

The Course

  • Muskingum hosted the meet at Moorehead Farm.
  • The event was a 5K race.
  • The Muskies tallied a total of 93 points to finish third.
  • Otterbein claimed the team title with a score of 15.

How it Happened

  • Junior Wade Speeth earned an 11th place finish with a time of 16:50.5, while sophomore Max McAdams tallied a time of 17:51.5 to finish 23rd.
  • Sophomore Chance Carpenter registered a time of 19:11.3 for a 40th place finish, while freshman Ryan Cummins earned 48th place with a time of 19:37.9.
  • Freshman Parker Graf recorded a time of 20:03.5 for 51st, and freshman Michael Javorsky finished right behind him in 52nd with a time of 20:10.5.
  • Freshman Korey Kakascik rounded out the Muskie scoring with a time of 20:27.5 for 53rd, while sophomore David McDonald tallied a time of 26:29.

  • The Muskies will be back in action on Friday, September 16, when they compete in the All-Ohio Championships. The event is hosted by Cedarville University and is set to begin at 9:00 p.m.
