The Muskingum Men's Track & Field team competed at the Kenyon Spring Invitational on Saturday.
The Basics
- Location: Wilder Track – Gambier, Ohio
Notables
- Muskingum scored a team total of 80 points.
- Mount Vernon Nazarene won the event with 150 points
On the Track
- Sophomore Wade Speeth notched a first-place finish in the 5,000-meter with a winning time of 15:41.33.
- Sophomore Hasson Williams ran a time of 16.13 in the 110-meter hurdles to finish third, while junior Seth Roseberry placed seventh with a mark of 17.75, and sophomore Evan Wagner notched an eighth-place finish with a time of 18.14.
- The 4X100-meter team of freshman Dudley Jaboin, Whyte, senior Aaron Johnston, and freshman Ryan Vanover placed third with a time of 44.03.
- Roseberry placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.07, while Wagner placed fifth with a time of 1:05.41.
- Freshman Colton Whyte placed fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.41, he also finished fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.16.
- Jaboin ran a time of 52.53 to place fourth in the 400-meter dash.
- The 4X400-meter team of Wagner, Williams, freshman Max McAdams, and freshman Cameron Scott placed eighth with a time of 3:46.32.
In the Field
- Junior Tristian Makowski notched a second-place finish in the Hammer with a mark of 44.31 meters, while also finishing fifth in the shot put with a mark of 13.35 meters.
- Junior Daniel Odette-Spillner secured a third-place finish in the discus with a mark of 42.32 meters, while junior Alfred Johnson III threw 39.02 meters to place fifth.
- Junior Preston Hershberger threw a distance of 39.03 meters to finish sixth in the Javelin.
- Odette-Spillner also placed seventh in the hammer with a mark of 38.16 meters.
- Whyte finished with a mark of 6.20 meters to finish eighth in the long jump.
