Men’s Track & Field finishes ninth at All-Ohio Championships

The Muskingum Men's Track & Field team finished ninth out of a 13-team field at the All-Ohio Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday.

The Basics

On the Track

  • Sophomore Hasson Williams secured a second-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.28.
  • Freshman Colton Whyte notched a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.77.
  • Junior Ja'Lin Goodman notched a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.41. Goodman also finished sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.11.
  • Sophomore Wade Speeth secured a fourth-place finish in the 5000-meter with a time of 15:50.47.
  • The 4X100-meter team of senior Aaron Johnston, Whyte, freshman Doudley Jaboin, and freshman Ryan Vanover placed seventh with a time of 44.63.

On the Field

  • Junior Tristan Makowski secured a third-place finish in the Shot Put notching a mark of 13.81 meters.
  • Junior Daniel Odette-Spillner placed third in the Discus with a mark of 41.06 meters.
  • Whyte finished with a mark of 11.87 meters in the Triple Jump to place eighth.
