Men's Outdoor Track & Field finishes sixth at OAC Opener

The Muskingum men's outdoor track & field team finished sixth at the Ohio Athletic Conference Opener on Sunday afternoon.

The Basics

  • The Muskies finished sixth out of a ten-team field.

On The Track

  • The 4x100-meter crew of freshman Samuel Paydock, junior Aaron Johnston, freshman Tyrel James, and freshman Jaden Swiderek grabbed first with a time of 43.95.
  • The 4x200-meter team of Johnston, freshman Hasson Williams, freshman Evan Wagner, and sophomore Seth Roseberry notched second with a time of 3:50.28.
  • Wagner secured sixth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.75, while Roseberry finished right behind him in seventh with a time of 1:05.20.
  • Swidereck recorded a 100-meter run mark of 11.32 that gave him seventh place.
  • Freshman Wade Speeth earned eighth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:58.19.
  • Williams grabbed seventh in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.16 and Wagner finished behind him in eighth with a mark of 17.91.

In The Field

  • Freshman Julian Anderson guided the Muskies with a second place finish in the long jump with a mark of 6.19 meters. Swiderek placed fourth in the long jump with a score of 5.98 meters, while James grabbed sixth with a mark of 5.89 meters.
  • Anderson also earned a fourth place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 12.13 meters. Freshman Jakai Smith finished in fifth with a mark of 12.10 meters in the triple long jump.
  • Freshman Logan Wickham notched sixth in the discuss with a score of 33.93 meters.
  • Sophomore Tristan Makowski placed eighth in the hammer throw with a mark of 40.90 meters.
  • Senior Kevin Dreyer finished sixth in the javelin throw with a score of 37.15 meters, while Roseberry placed behind him in seventh with a mark of 31.78 meters.
