#TributeThursday - featuring Muskingum men's track & field seniors

Today, Muskingum Athletics honors four senior student-athletes from the Muskie men's outdoor track & field team - Doug McIntire, Logan Skolosh, Jacob Paick, and Gino Cary.

Senior Doug McIntire - Mathematics major

McIntire, a graduate of Grove City High School, is the son of Carolyn and Kevin McIntire. McIntire ended his career with career-best times of 18:01.5 in the 5K and 27.51.9 in the 8K for cross country. For track, McIntire registered a career-best time of 2:04.38 in the 800 and a career-best time of 4:10.72 in the 1,500.

"Doug was a wonderful member of our cross country and track & field programs," said Muskingum Cross Country Head Coach and Director of Track & Field Operations Jake Gleason. "He was a strong leader and good friend to all of his teammates. His leadership and caring will be missed by all."

Senior Logan Skolosh - Business Management and Marketing major

Skolosh, a graduate of Louisville High School, is the son of Deb and Mark Skolosh. Skolosh registered career-best times of 18:31.1 in the 5K and 28:53.4 in the 8K during his cross country career. He also logged career-best times of 52.92 in the 400 and 2:01.65 in the 800 during his track tenure.

"Logan brought much passion and grit to our cross country and track & field programs," said Muskingum Cross Country Head Coach and Director of Track & Field Operations Jake Gleason. "His work ethic was evident every day!"

Senior Jacob Paick - Digital Media Design major

Paick, a graduate of Purcell Marian High School, is the son of Lauren Paick. Paick ran a career-best time of 23:53.3 in the 5K and a time of 34:34 in the 8K for cross country. During his track tenure, Paick recorded a time of 2:44.89 in the 800 and 5:23.89 in the 1,500.

"Jacob was a great member of our cross country and track & field program," said Muskingum Cross Country Head Coach and Director of Track & Field Operations Jake Gleason. "He worked diligently every day to better himself."

Senior Gino Cary - Public Accounting major

Cary, a graduate of Hopewell Area High School, is the son of Joseph and Mary Cary. Cary recorded career-best throws in the shot put with a heave of 26-9 and in the javelin with a toss of 139-10.

"Gino was a great member of our throws crew," said Muskingum Cross Country Head Coach and Director of Track & Field Operations Jake Gleason. "He was a hard worker, a great leader, and a strong mentor for our group."
