The Muskingum men's indoor track and field team opened its 2022-23 indoor season with a third-place finish at the Marietta First Glimpse meet on Saturday.
The Basics

Notables
- The meet marked the season opener of the 2022-23 indoor season.
- Muskingum finished third out of six teams.

On the Track
- Sophomore Cameron Scott won the 500-meter in 1:16.08.
- The 4X200-meter team of sophomore Colton Whyte, freshman Noah Mitchell, freshman Kysen Gabriel, and freshman Cedrice Bennett finished second with a time of 1:36.8.
- Freshman Keaton Naufzinger was fourth in the 200-meter dash with a run in 24.54, while Kysen Gabriel placed eighth with a time of 25.71.
- Colton Whyte placed second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.11.
- Freshman Ryan Irwin placed fifth in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.44, and sixth in the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.86.
On the Field
- Noah Mitchell won the triple jump with a winning distance of 13.0 meters, while junior Julian Anderson registered 12.72 meters to finish second.
- Senior Tristan Makowski notched a second-place finish in the shot put with a heave of 14.18 meters. Makowski also finished sixth in the weight throw with a mark of 14.14 meters.
- Colton Whyte finished second in the long jump with a mark of 6.43 meters, while Julian Anderson placed fourth with a distance of 6.11 meters.
- Freshman Anthony Kocanjer finished tied for fifth in the high jump with a leap of 1.65 meters, while Cedric Bennett finished seventh with a mark of 1.60 meters.
