Men’s Indoor Track & Field Competes at OWU Open

The Muskingum men's indoor track & field team competed in the Ohio Wesleyan Open on Friday.

The Basics

  • Location: Gordon Field House – Delaware, Ohio 

On the Track

  • Junior Ja'Lin Goodman led the Muskies on the track securing a first-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.87.
  • Goodman also finished third in the 60-meter dash logging a time of 7.07.
  • Sophomore Evan Wagner placed fifth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.25.

On the Field

  • Freshman Tyrese Mayle secured a first-place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 12.71 meters.
  • Sophomore Logan Wickham secured a first-place finish in the shot put logging a distance of 12.98 meters.
  • Mayle also finished fifth in the long jump with a leap of 5.78 meters.
  • Junior Caleb McManaway locked in a fourth-place finish in the weight throw with a mark of 10.84 meters, while Wickham finished fifth notching a distance of 10.67 meters.
